Now on Twitter

You can now get updates from YMTV on Twitter. Using sophisticated technology (feedburner, twitterfeed, etc), you can now add Youth Ministry TV to your friends on Twitter. I’d love to see twitter technology used more for ministry. There’s a post brewing on ideas for using it for your ministry.

Embed a Youtube Playlist

Did you know you can create a playlist in Youtube and embed it in a website? Check out the example below. Here are some of the videos I’ve been listening to lately.

It’s a pretty cool feature with some pretty cool uses. I’m thinking of this as a great way to share a series of videos on your ministry website. It’s an easy copy and paste thing, which means you don’t have to know much about technology to use it.

All you have to do is make a playlist in Youtube. Go to that playlist page and embed it. It might even be a cool way for students to share their favorite videos or for you to share your favorite videos.

Mission Trip Presentations


So you’re back from your Spring Break mission trip, and you have hundreds of photos to show next week. What are you going to do with them? Will you make a presentation? Will you show it to your church? Will you put it up on your ministry’s website? I came across this great guide to memorable travel slideshows. It is written for general travel slide shows, but you could use it in your ministry, too.
